Screen Printing Taster Workshop
Beginner-friendly screen printing session: use paper stencils to print your own fabric design on a tote bag or t-shirt to take home.
Learn the basics of screen printing in this introduction to the craft led by Grainne Murray, Craft Teacher at Mountjoy Prison.
This workshop caters to all levels of artistic ability and is perfect for adult beginners who would like to try screen-printing in a relaxed and supportive environment.
You will use paper stencils to create your own one-of-a-kind fabric print to bring home.
All materials are supplied including fabric inks, screens, stencils and a tote bag or t-shirt (we will have a selection of t-shirts sizes, but feel free to bring along a white or light- coloured cotton t-shirt if you perfer).
This event forms part of the Learning & Engagement Programme for Time Well Spent , an exhibition in collaboration with Irish Prison Services at Rua Red Galleries.
