Runfinity is the flagship cause-led marathon of Atharv Ranbhoomi, IIM Indore's annual management, cultural, literary and sports fest, now in its second edition. The run is open to the IIM Indore community, Corporate Employees, and to runners from across the city, in 3KM, 5KM and 10KM categories. The debut edition drew 500+ runners, raised close to two lakh rupees, and sent hundreds of packs of sanitary pads to underprivileged girls, with more than four in five participants coming from outside campus. What began last year as one cause returns this year as three:Sainik is a tribute to the families behind the uniform. India's defence forces are backed by more than 2.6 million ex-servicemen and over 7.4 lakh registered war widows, families who carry the weight of service long after it ends.Shakti carries forward the menstrual health cause. In India, 1 in 4 girls misses school during her period. This year, Shakti may be attempting to break the India Book of Records mark for the Maximum Distribution of Organic Sanitary Pads by a College or a Similar Attempt in Limca Book of Records, built entirely around organic, eco-friendly pads, with every single registration converting into a pad donated.Swasthya runs for patients who cannot afford care, at a time when out-of-pocket healthcare costs push an estimated 39 million Indians into poverty every year.Come chase a personal best and be part of a national record attempt while you are at it.Our runners don't just cross a finish line. They fund a cause with every step.
