Reading Rave at Open Book Club Inspired by the reading raves taking over Tokyo, I'm turning the Open Book Club studio into a nightclub for readers.
Bring a book you've been meaning to finish, sink into a cozy floor cushion, and read under red mood lighting while a DJ plays a live ambient set.
After an hour of quiet, the room will open into drinks and discussion. Tell the person next to you what you're reading, swap recommendations, or maybe even swap books.
After Halloween and Marathon weekend, I think we'll need a night out that's also kinda a night in.
