This hands-on class at Racine Art Museum introduces participants to Raku firing methods, safety protocols, glazing approaches, and the post-firing reduction process that creates distinctive crackle and metallic effects. Suitable for students with some basic ceramics experience; participants will work on pieces that will be fired and cooled during the session.
Materials and kiln time may be included or available for an additional fee. Check with the museum for precise supplies list and pickup times.
