Did you always want to climb the biggest and most beautiful Pyrenean « Cols » of the Tour de France, the Tourmalet, the Aubisque, Luz Ardiden ? Bike Basque offers you this opportunity. Starting in Sare and finishing in Foix while passing through 16 climbs (among them, 5 « Hors catégorie »), this cycling trip takes place over the course of 9 days and is fully supported by 2 vehicles and 2 professional guides to make you feel safe and free throughout your trip.
Day 1: Arrival in Biarritz, possibility to be picked up at your arrival spot*, setting of the bikes, meeting with presentation of the staff and of the cycling tour day by day. A road book will be given to each guest.
Day 2: Biarritz - Mauléon - 116 km - Puerto de Oxtondo (9.3 km at 5.1 %) - Puerto de Lizunaga (5.7 km at 5.1 %) - Col de Gamia (4 km at 7.6%) - Col d'Osquich (4.3 km at 5.9 %)
Day 3: Mauléon - Oloron Sainte Marie - 102 km - Col d'Ahusky (5 km at 8.5 %) - Col du Soudet/Pierre St.Martin (21 km at 5 %)
Day 4: Oloron Sainte Marie - Argelez Gazost - 89 km - Col de Marie Blanque (9.2 km at 7.8 %) - Col d'Aubisque (16.8 km at 6.9 %) - Col du Soulor (2.1 km at 5.2 %)
Day 5: Argelez Gazost - Bagnéres de Bigorre - 123 km - Hautacam (12.5 km at 7.8 %) - Luz Ardiden (13.1 km at 7.5 %) - Col du Tourmalet from Luz-St.Sauveur (18.4 km at 7.5 %)
Day 6: Bagnéres de Bigorre - Bagnéres de Bigorre - 113 km - La Hourquette d'Ancizan (8.2 km at 5 %) - Col d'Aspin from Arreau (11.6 km at 6.7 %) - Col du Tourmalet from Sainte Marie de Campan (16.5 km at 7.3 %)
Day 7: Bagnéres de Bigorre - Bagnéres de Luchon - 71 km - Col d'Aspin from Payolle (5.5 km at 6.8 %) - Col de Peyresourde (7.8 km at 7.9 %)
Day 8: Bagnéres de Luchon - Saint Girons - 111 km - Port de Bales (15.5 km at 5.8 %) - Col de Mente (9.3 km at 8.8 %) - Col de Porter d'Aspet (4.5 km at 9.6 %)
Day 9: Saint Girons - Ax-les-Thermes - 118 km - Col de Port (12.3 km at 4.8 %) - Plateau de Beille (13.4 km at 7.6 %)
Day 10: Departure from Ax-les-Thermes after the last breakfast, transfer to your leaving spot*
