Raghunath

KCC presents Raghunath, a theatre production from Assam, at AMI Arts Festival 2026. Set in a flood-prone village, the play follows a grieving father whose daughter loses her life because there is no bridge to help her reach school safely. Determined to draw attention to his community, he comes up with an unusual plan involving the supposed discovery of a sacred idol.

Join us as we watch Raghunath navigate grief, faith, and governance, exploring what happens when a community's most basic needs remain unanswered in his attempt to make change possible.
