QUEER MADE

A METHOD OF SEEING

DESIGN AS CULTURAL POSITION

QUEER MADE versteht Gestaltung nicht als Kategorie, sondern als Haltung.

Eine Praxis, die Wahrnehmung verschiebt.

Im Zentrum stehen Arbeiten, die:

* Normen unterlaufen

* Identität neu denken

* Körper und Raum verhandeln

* Material als Sprache nutzen

* neue narrative und emotionale Räume öffnen

QUEER MADE interessiert sich nicht für Darstellung. Sondern für Erfahrung.

Nicht für Illustration.

Sondern für Transformation.

FORMAT

Die erste Edition ist bewusst klein, intim und konzentriert.

Raum ohne Ablenkung.

Keine Messe. Keine Überlagerung. Keine visuelle Konkurrenz.

Nur: Objekt. Material. Präsenz.

A PLATFORM IN FORMATION, QUEER MADE wächst mit jeder Edition.

Als:

* Netzwerk

* Diskursraum

* internationale Plattform

* kulturelles Archiv im Aufbau

QUEER MADE ist kein Thema. QUEER MADE ist eine Methode des Sehens.

QUEER MADE

A METHOD OF SEEING

QUEER MADE is a curatorial platform within Design Season Cologne https://designseasoncologne.com A new structure for contemporary queer-informed design, art, and spatial practice. Curated by Rodrigo Vairinhos / NEO Design Studios , Cologne.

QUEER MADE does not begin as an institution. But as a movement in formation. A platform that expands annually — through new positions, new perspectives, and new forms of cultural visibility.

DESIGN AS A CULTURAL POSITION

QUEER MADE understands design not as a category, but as a stance. A practice that shifts perception.

At its core are works that:

* challenge norms

* rethink identity

* negotiate body and space

* use material as language

* open new narrative and emotional spaces

QUEER MADE is not interested in representation. But in experience. Not in illustration. But in transformation.

FORMAT

The first edition is intentionally small, intimate, and focused. A space without distraction. No trade fair. No overload. No visual competition. Only: Object. Material. Presence.

A PLATFORM IN FORMATION, QUEER MADE grows with every edition.

As:

* a network

* a space for discourse

* an international platform

* a cultural archive in the making

QUEER MADE is not a theme. QUEER MADE is a method of seeing.
