Post-Capitalist Open Mic

overgrow is hosting a post-capitalist open mic! This is a space to unleash your rage against the system, patriarchy, and colonialism, and share your dreams of a more beautiful world.

All forms of expression are welcome. Sing a song about resistance. Share your own poem, or one by someone else that felt like a remedy for the toxic system we're trapped in. Tell us a story about a life on a billionaires-free planet. A set of tips about how to shrink productivity. An idea about the solar-punk alternative to the Amazon Tower. An as-inappropriate-as-it-can-get story about how to sabotage the system.

We want to hear from people of all backgrounds and experiences. Bring your raw, unfinished, weird work, whatever speaks to your truth about living under capitalism. This is a space of mutual respect: you can punch up at systems of oppression, but not down at each other.
