Paper Dresses

Express your fantasy fashion style with this introduction to paper garments workshop. Liza MacKinnon, exhibiting paper garment artist from Lawrence, KS will cover the fundamentals of paper dress construction on mini six-inch mannequins. Participants will work with various papers and mixed media elements to convey three-dimensional drape, flair and decoration on a two-dimensional framework.

Enjoy augmenting your fashion piece with ribbon, jewels, flowers and other mini accessories. All materials provided for this fun 3 hour workshop.

Hosted as part of the "A Colorado Childhood" exhibition , from Oct. 1 - Nov. 27 on the Arapahoe Ramp at the Main Library.
