Chamber concert of new commissioned works for violin, cello, oboe and harp, tied to the Painted Prayers exhibit.
7pm show; champagne reception and gallery viewing at 6pm
Tied to the Painted Prayers exhibit, this colorful program features the world premiere of a new commissioned work by LA-based composer Jory Herman for violin, cello and electronics (written for Kate Hatmaker and Alex Greenbaum), paired with a commissioned work for violin/cello by Eunike Tanzil , in addition to music by Kian Ravaei and " The Consolation of Rain" by composer David Bruce, written for oboe, harp, cello and percussion.
