Join Early Excellence and Oldham Local Authority for an inspiring three-part professional development programme focused on enhancing the quality and impact of outdoor learning in the early years.
By taking part, settings will:
Develop a clear vision for high-quality outdoor provision. Enhance outdoor environments, resources, and curriculum planning. Strengthen adult practice and interactions outdoors. Support children's learning, language, and wellbeing through meaningful outdoor experiences. Implement and evaluate sustainable improvements across the setting.
Through a series of practical and thought-provoking sessions, participants will explore how to create high-quality outdoor environments that support children's learning, development, and wellbeing. Themes include developing a positive outdoor learning culture, curriculum planning, effective resourcing, adult interactions, managing risk, language-rich environments and extending learning outdoors.
Between sessions, participants will complete improvement activities within their setting and share the impact of their work to support development and learning.
This programme is ideal for nursery and pre-school leaders and practitioners committed to strengthening outdoor learning and creating rich, engaging environments that help all children thrive.
Booking Information:
Initially, one place per setting will be allocated to ensure as many nurseries and preschools as possible can access the programme. Any additional places required please email [email protected] and we will add you to the waiting list.
