Open Lab
Bring your own project and make alongside fellow makers — 3D printing, electronics, hand tools and materials provided.
An afternoon of making, together. Bring a project you're working on (electronics, prints, crafts, code) and spend the afternoon on it alongside fellow makers. Use our tools, get a hand if you need one, or just settle in and work. Snacks, music and small materials are on us. Good work rarely happens alone. What's in the workshop Digital fabrication: Bambu Lab P2S 3D printer with AMS (multi-colour printing)
Electronics: soldering irons, digital multimeter, components (resistors, LEDs, jumper wires and more), and Arduino, Raspberry Pi and ESP32 boards for prototyping in the space Hand tools: screwdrivers, hammer, drill, small angle grinder, calipers, bottle cutter and more Materials: cement and moulds, clay, wood, XPS foam, glass bottles and jars Basics: worktables, power and Wi-Fi Good to know Open Lab is for working on your own project. It isn't a class.
Each person gets ₦20,000 of materials free, covering 3D printing filament and components you take home. Anything beyond that is at cost on the day. Boards are for prototyping in the space and stay with us. Printer time is shared, so long prints may be queued. Tools are used after a quick safety briefing from staff, with the right protective gear.
Space is limited, so we review each registration. We'll confirm your spot by WhatsApp the day before.
