Nosferatu was a trailblazing 1922 silent film loosely based on Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The film came to be regarded as an influential masterpiece of cinema and the horror genre.

Pianist, composer and arranger Tom Roberts was commissioned by The Pittsburgh Silent Film Society and The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust to create a new score for the film, and now he’s performing it across the region. His original score is influenced by early German Romantic composers as well as traditional music of the Gitan of Romania.

Experience this groundbreaking piece of early cinema as it was originally presented, with live piano accompaniment!
