My First Library Card Celebration
Family event for young children to get their first library card with games, stories and book checkout
September is Library Card Sign‑Up Month, and we're excited to help young readers begin their journey. Join us for a special My First Library Card Celebration on September 19 from 12:00 PM–2:30 PM.
Participants will enjoy: • Sharing their favorite stories • Fun games, prizes, and surprises • Checking out books with their brand‑new library cards • Children's Bingo, Scrabble, STEM block activities, and more
"My First Library Card" is a semi‑annual event designed to inspire young readers, spark curiosity, and literacy skills that last a lifetime. This month is all about helping children discover the power of having a library card and the worlds it can open.
