Murmuration
Join 100 people in silent disco headphones for a communal movement walk along Brighton seafront, from the West Pier to the Doughnut Groyne.
Brighton People's Theatre's Murmuration: Sunday, 25th October, 10:30 am–11:30 am
This is your invitation to Murmuration. This community project is inviting people in and around Brighton to be part of a human movement piece along the seafront boardwalk. Through fun, play, and various activities, Murmuration highlights human connectivity in Brighton through the metaphor of Brighton's famous starling murmuration.
To honour community, we are gathering around 100 people wearing silent disco headphones for a movement walk across the seafront boardwalk (not the pebbles!). We will journey from the West Pier towards the Brighton Palace Pier Doughnut Groyne, just like the birds.
The journey will start at the i360 cafe benches where we will meet, put on our headphones and get into the music. We will then move through the pillars of the West Pier, Shelter Hall, The Fisherman's Museum ramp, and finish at the Doughnut Groyne where we will close off and party.
For accessibility, we will have seating areas at each spot and stewards will be present at all times.
We welcome the Brighton community to join us, so feel free to get involved and sign up if this sounds like something you want to be a part of!
This Sunday, 25th October at 10:30am, Murmuration will take off and we hope to see you there.
Please sign up to be guaranteed headphones.
