Moving Through Shadows
Interdisciplinary performance weaving poetry, visual art and dance around the theme of shadow-work and darkness.
In Moving Through Shadows , interdisciplinary artists weave storytelling, visual art, and dance, interpreting how we rise above, move alongside, live with, or even submit to darkness.
The artists' work creates a cohesiveness between the disciplines and mediums, creating a conversation between not only the artists, but between the work and the audience.
Each artist will offer their interpretation of shadow-work and/or darkness, exploring this complicated human condition.
The literary artists include three poets/essayists, Heidi Kraay , Hannah Rodabaugh , and Rebecca Evans , who will share excerpts from their work set to performances led by Kelli Brown , Chelsea Santiago , Brethany Hull , Rich Brown , and Erin Westfall.
The visual artists will provide an interactive backdrop and include David R. Day , Kelli Brown , and Jill AnnieMargaret .
