Mitten Written

Mitten Written ★ Volume One Michigan Sounds & Stories | An Intimate Songwriter Showcase Introducing Mitten Written, a new singer-songwriter series at Holland's historic Park Theatre! We're bringing Michigan songwriters together for a more intimate evening of original music, storytelling, and conversation. For Volume One, we're welcoming Honeycrutch, Teenage Ghost, and Tanner J. Burns for a special collaborative songwriter showcase. Instead of three separate sets, all three artists will share the stage together, taking turns playing original songs, swapping stories, and talking about the experiences and ideas behind their music. We're also changing up our usual Park Theatre setup to bring the audience a little closer to the artists and the songwriting. Hosted by Park Theatre's own Jair Driesenga, who'll help guide the evening's music, stories, and conversation. FEATURING HONEYCRUTCH — Colin Overway (Julie's Bones) Colin Overway of West Michigan rock band Julie's Bones shares his original music through his solo project, Honeycrutch. TEENAGE GHOST — Grant McKenzie (The Mannequins) Grant McKenzie, vocalist and guitarist of Holland-based alternative rock band The Mannequins, brings his original songwriting to the stage through his solo project, Teenage Ghost. TANNER J. BURNS Holland-based songwriter and recording artist whose music spans lo-fi, indie rock, and noise pop.
