Mini Minnows is a toddlers (24 - 36 months) and parent/caregiver swim group focused on building comfort and confidence in the water.
Recreation Therapists will guide parents/caregivers and their toddler in fun and interactive activities aimed at building comfort and confidence in the water and introducing early swim skills through songs, games, and play.
Parents/caregiver will also learning about other TVCC and community based swim opportunities.
Goals:
1. Water Confidence: feel comfortable in water and feel comfortable in a pool setting
2. Water-Positive Attitude: develop a positive connection with water through play.
3. Water Skills: learn early swim skills assisted by a parent/caregiver including active movement, floating, moving on your stomach.
