Less reacting. More connecting.
Ever wish you could press “pause” in the middle of a tricky conversation?
Join this free, in-person introduction to Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and discover how NVC and mindfulness can help you slow down, understand what matters to you and others, and respond with greater clarity and care.
Bring your curiosity—and a real-life conversation you’d like to navigate with more ease. We’ll learn and practice together in a welcoming space, with room for laughter and the occasional “Let me try that again!” Want to keep practicing? The first class is a stand-alone introduction —come explore, with no commitment to continue. To attend, please register as workshop space is limited. You will receive an email with the location.
For those who want to go deeper, seven additional classes will follow on Wednesdays, 10 a.m.–noon, in downtown Benicia .
Through guided meditations, partner exercises, role-plays, and group reflection, we’ll practice bringing these skills into everyday life—from small misunderstandings to conversations that really matter.
Everyone is welcome. No experience needed.
Sponsored by Benicia Insight Meditation (BIM) , all classes are offered freely. Optional donations for the seven week course support BIM and the teacher.
