Mind Over Meter

ChiVaCA's first full-length concert will take place at The Masonic Temple in Eau Claire. It promises to be a fun, interesting, and deeply moving evening. In addition to the exciting new music dreamed up by the group's composers, the performance will feature several pieces built around the works of local poets Max Garland, Lopa Basu, Hero and Yia Lor. And the icing on the cake?

This brand-new music will be played by some of the area's finest musicians: Katherine Altreuter (violin), Tulio Rondon (cello), Jeff Reitz and Jordan Cox (woodwinds), and Jeff Crowell (percussion). Doors open at 6:30 pm, music begins at 7:30 pm.
