Memory Library - Launch Night

An evening celebrating the opening of Memory Library, bringing together artists, communities and ideas from Portsmouth and beyond.

Join us at Portsmouth Historic Quarter for the launch of Memory Library, a programme of exhibitions, installations, workshops, performances and conversations exploring the relationships between memory, art and technology.

Developed by Play Office, Memory Library brings together local and international artists to explore how we remember, what we choose to preserve, and how creative technologies can help us share our experiences with one another.

Across the programme, artists and communities from Portsmouth, Bangladesh, Egypt, Lebanon and beyond contribute different perspectives on personal and collective memory.

The launch is an opportunity to explore the exhibition, encounter new artworks, meet participating artists and collaborators, and celebrate the beginning of the programme.
