MAX First District
Weekly public NOPD First District meeting with briefing on crime trends and district issues, viewable in person or via Facebook livestream
MAX meetings, led by senior leadership in each NOPD district, provide a synopsis of police activity for the week, including trends in crime and crime reduction strategies that are being implemented. These meetings also include a discussion on all other topics for which the District has responsibility. The data supporting these MAX meetings is available online to improve transparency and accountability. MAX meetings are held once a week in each District and are open to the public. The meeting can also be viewed via livestream on the district's Facebook page. This meeting is open to cancellation due to holidays, special events or other circumstances; cancellations will be announced in advance via subscriber email and the district Facebook page.
NOTICE: During the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person MAX meetings have been canceled; citizens can watch live via the First District's Facebook page. In-person meetings will resume once COVID restrictions have been lifted.
