Large annual country fair with agricultural shows, live entertainment, family activities and food
Markham Fair is one of Canada oldest country fairs. Since 1844 the fair has been providing the community with a showcase for talents and products in a friendly competitive spirit. Markham Fair occurs annually on the weekend before Thanksgiving and hosts upwards of 70,000 attendees. Some highlights of the fair include Children’s activities and entertainment, Tractor Pulls, Demolition Derby, Ambassador competition, live entertainment, Monster Trucks, Horse, livestock and poultry shows, Homecraft, agricultural, school and commercial displays, food and much more.
