AI builders pitch solutions to real aviation challenges from CAAS, SATS and Singapore Airlines in a matchmaking session.
What happens when we put aviation problem owners and solution providers in the same room?
For this edition of Lorong AI's Market Access Program (MAP) , we're bringing Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), SATS and Singapore Airlines (SIA) together with AI builders, researchers and technology partners to pitch, match and explore what could work. The Problems We're Tackling 👀 From operational intelligence and workforce optimisation to personalised training and physical automation, we're putting six real aviation challenges on the table. 👉 Dive into the full problem statements 💡Meet the Spotlight Showcase Teams Catch three shortlisted teams showcasing their solutions and research with potential applications across aviation.
Fittra Syaifullah (Overhaul) on "Vision Codev: Turning Expert Workflows into On-the-Job Guidance"
How do you transfer the know-how of an experienced technician beyond manuals and training videos? Fittra will showcase Vision Codev, which captures an expert's approved "golden run" and turns it into step-by-step visual and audio guidance for workers on the job.
Using existing cameras, earpieces, and smartphones, see how the system can guide technicians through maintenance and inspection tasks, identify missed or out-of-sequence steps, and provide corrective guidance in real time.
Dr. Haolin Fan (NTU) on "CabinSense: From Cabin Intelligence to Smarter Service Operations"
How can AI help cabin crews anticipate servicing needs and coordinate tasks more efficiently? Haolin will showcase CabinSense, a proposed cabin-intelligence platform that combines passenger requests, lavatory conditions, consumable levels, and service information to recommend timely actions.
Through an interactive demo using simulated data, see how the system could help crews prioritise tasks, track completion, and explore potential robotic assistance for selected replenishment and cleaning workflows, while keeping crew members in control.
Brandon Chew (Cohere) will showcase "North: Turning Aviation Data into Actionable Intelligence."
Aviation data and domain knowledge sit fragmented across disconnected systems and individual experts, with no shared source of truth. Brandon will demo Cohere North, an enterprise AI platform that unifies multi-source operational data into a live, queryable layer, so schedules, SOPs, crew records and incident reports come back as cited, actionable recommendations.
He'll run a live day-of-disruption scenario: a storm grounds an aircraft, North assembles the cross-domain recovery options, and every action is human-approved before it reaches the floor.
The same layer can test workforce-model updates before go-live, turn operational knowledge into personalised training for each role, and give pilots private insight into their own landings with data that never leaves their perimeter. Deployment spans private cloud, on-premise, and fully air-gapped environments. 🙋Got a Solution? Have an AI solution, product, research, or…
