Cyclosportive Lapébie in Bagnères‑de‑Luchon: 500 riders on Pyrenean passes like Port de Balès, Menté and Col des Ares

The year 2025 confirms the strong momentum of La Lapébie! This edition brought together 500 participants who took on the legendary roads of our Pyrenees, in an atmosphere that was as friendly and passionate as ever. Around the race, 20 stands brought the village to life, bringing together local artisans, shopkeepers, and producers.
Thanks to the profits from this wonderful day, we were able to create a new event: the first “Luchon–Superbagnères Time Trial”, held on July 14. A success that marks a new milestone in the development of our cyclosportive.
La Lapébie has now established itself as a benchmark event, thanks to the quality of its organization, the beauty of its course, and the commitment of its participants. Mythical mountain passes such as the Port de Balès, Menté, and the Col des Ares once again provided a playground worthy of the greatest challenges.
And the story continues! Next year, La Lapébie will once again cross into Spain via the famous Portillon Pass, before a legendary finish at Superbagnères for the long route. A new, more accessible ride will use only the Portillon, allowing everyone to experience the adventure at their own pace.
