KNOWN | UNKNOWN

A Dancer's Place Productions returns to Luminary Arts Center with KNOWN | UNKNOWN , a program of original and reimagined dances inviting audiences closer to the creative process and into the adventure of making something new.

Placing new choreography alongside established works, KNOWN | UNKNOWN brings together dances still taking shape and repertory revisited for a new moment. Highlights include the Minneapolis premiere of Zach Manske's DEEP CAVE —presented in full following its June preview—along with premieres by Remi Blakesley, Emily Pitts, and Levi Sherman. The performance also features works by Loyce Houlton and Lise Houlton, transformed for today's dancers.

The program will evolve over the weekend as the repertory unfolds in real time.

Artists: Remi Blakesley*, Kaitlyn Gilliland, Peter Hoffman, Grace Lennon, Emily Pitts, Levi Sherman, Connor Simone, Emily Trapnell, Katelyn Yankovich, and rising local student dancers.

These dancers are joined by visiting artist Reed Tankersley (Twyla Tharp Dance) and special guest choreographer Zach Manske, artist with The Joffrey Ballet.

VIP tickets include priority seating and a complimentary welcome drink at concessions.
