A Ritual Dance Workshop - Movement. Expression. Empowerment.

A Ritual Dance Workshop - Movement. Expression. Empowerment.

Do you ever feel like you're not good enough? Do you find yourself comparing yourself to others, worrying about what people think or questioning whether you're doing things "right"? Perhaps you find it difficult to say no, feel guilty when you put yourself first or agree to things you don't really want to do. Do you struggle to accept compliments, play down your achievements or look to others for reassurance that you're good enough? When we've struggled with self-worth, we can become our own harshest critics, focusing on what we don't like about ourselves, what we haven't achieved or what we think we should be doing better. Imagine how different life could feel if you stopped constantly questioning your worth and began recognising just how much magic and wonder you naturally have to offer. Our sense of self-worth influences how we see ourselves, the relationships we have, the choices we make and how we allow others to treat us. Inspired by the planetary energies of Venus and Mercury, which both turn direct earlier in November, this workshop explores self-love, personal value, relationships, inner dialogue and finding the confidence to express who we really are. Venus invites us to reconnect with our inherent worth and our capacity to give and receive love. Mercury encourages us to question the stories we tell ourselves, find our voice and communicate our needs with greater confidence. What if you really knew your worth? Imagine no longer needing everyone else's approval to feel good about yourself. Imagine expressing what you really think and feel, honouring your own needs without guilt and taking up space without worrying about what anyone else thinks. What would it feel like to stop making yourself smaller, soften the grip of your inner critic and give yourself permission to be seen, heard and fully expressed? Through ritual, somatic movement, music, voice and dance, we'll explore the journey from seeking our worth outside ourselves to reconnecting with it within. This is an opportunity to explore familiar patterns, discover new ways of relating to yourself and experience what it feels like to move, express and live from a deeper sense of self-respect and acceptance. How the morning will unfold Arriving and connecting We'll begin by settling into the space with grounding, gentle movement and somatic enquiry. We'll start noticing how we relate to ourselves, where we hold back and the ways we might seek approval or struggle to honour our own needs. Exploring our patterns Through guided movement and embodied exercises, we'll explore familiar behaviours such as self-abandonment, seeking reassurance, comparing ourselves to others, making ourselves smaller or worrying about being judged. We'll consider how these patterns may once have helped us feel safe, accepted or connected, but how they can sometimes prevent us from expressing who we really are. Finding our voice and releasing what no…
