Join us on for the first ever Kidulting Day at Birch Road when we leave behind adulting and bound into a half-day of fun, whimsy and joy.
The day is divided into three hour-long chunks. First, you’ll explore ways to integrate more fun into your daily life. Next, you’ll design a Gratitude Tree with creative art supplies. And finally, you’ll sculpt miniature food.
There will be plenty of laughing, collaborating, and sharing along the way. Don’t miss out!
The Less Adulting, More Funning Workshop
During this interactive, hourlong workshop, The Fun Coach, Monika Jansen, will lead you through nine exercises that are key to integrating more fun into your life on a regular basis. You’ll walk away with actionable steps you can start doing now to rekindle that spark for life, and you’ll get a list of small daily activities you can do anytime when you need a fresh jolt of fun.
The Gratitude Tree Experience
Lara Galante of Find Your Inner Parakeet will lead a creative Gratitude Tree experience using playful art supplies and upcycled materials. Together we'll tap into our inner 10-year-olds, let go of perfection and create something meaningful, whimsical, and uniquely our own. (Gem stickers and feathers not required, but strongly encouraged.)
The Return-to-Grade-School Art Class
Melanie Schultz of Makeaway Studios will bring out colorful, squishy foam clay so you can sculpt your own miniature food. The clay dries into cute, puffy creations you can keep and display. No deadlines, no KPIs, and definitely nothing for your LinkedIn profile. The only goal is to have fun making something imperfect!
