Invertigo

In his second solo exhibition, INVERTIGO, at Galerie Nothelfer, Geerten Verheus presents new sculptures and collages alongside older works and pieces that have rarely been shown before.

INVERTIGO explores the interplay between thesis and antithesis, between front and back, as well as between upward and downward. The materiality, orientation, and intention of the Dutch-German artist’s objects—which aim to be visually appealing—create a deceptively humorous simultaneity of opposing perspectives that is not only intellectually comprehensible but can also be experienced on a physical level.
