On 8th August, Horoom brings together the Bassiani residents, seminal tour-de-forces, who shaped the sound of contemporary Georgian techno forever: The visionaries helming Shin Records are Kancheli, master of peak-time marathon sets with impeccable mixing technique behind the decks; and Newa, a classically trained artist building her presence on technical skill and honest, contradictory emotions articulated through music: a cohesive sonic palette that heralds all the essential elements of classic techno and precisely reflects her own sonority, exploring the low-level end of the bass spectrum as well as carefully introducing squelchy acid together with intense melodies.
