Ginger Bread Making Workshop

Step into the festive season at Henry and the Fox in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD with our Gingerbread House Masterclass .

Perfect for families, couples, workmates, corporate teams or a festive catch-up with friends, this hands-on class is all about creativity, Christmas cheer and taking home something you’ve made yourself.

Guided by Executive Chef Malcolm Williams , Head Chef Nick Marriott and their band of merry Christmas helpers, you’ll learn the basics of gingerbread house construction from the ground up. Malcolm and Nick will walk you through the process of baking, building and decorating like a professional before handing things over to you.

Then it’s your turn to create your own gingerbread masterpiece, using an abundance of modern and nostalgic lollies, sweets and festive decorations. It is a class designed to bring out the inner child in everyone, with plenty of fun along the way.

Throughout the class, guests will enjoy a charcuterie station featuring a premium selection of local and imported cured meats, cheeses, fruit and condiments. There will also be a dedicated kids’ food station with party favourites for younger guests.

To start the session, adults will receive a festive Twisted Spritz , while kids can enjoy a natural fruit juice slushie .

To keep the festive spirit going at home, every participant will also receive a gingerbread house template and recipes , so you can recreate the magic year after year.
