What is Futures Fest? Futures Fest is Middlesex University's new three-day festival of careers, industry engagement and professional development, taking place from Tuesday 27th to Thursday 29th October 2026 .
Bringing together employers, alumni, students and graduates, Futures Fest provides opportunities to explore career pathways, connect with employers, develop professional skills and gain valuable industry insight. Across the three days, students will be able to engage with recruiters, industry professionals and Middlesex alumni through a combination of careers fairs, networking opportunities, workshops, masterclasses and industry-led sessions.
Day 1: Careers Fair | Tuesday 27 October 2026 11:00am – 4:00pm (On-campus)
Formerly known as Gradstock , the Futures Fest Careers Fair is Middlesex University's flagship employer engagement event, welcoming employers, alumni, students and graduates from every discipline.
With 50+ organisations expected to attend , this is your opportunity to discover new possibilities, grow your network and gain valuable industry insight.
Alongside employer exhibitors, the day will feature our Alumni Corner , professional LinkedIn photography and the Unexpected Cinema , a unique career discovery experience designed to help students explore career pathways they may never have previously considered.
Current exhibiting organisations include: Tata Consultancy Services, Enterprise Mobility, WWF, Oxfam, Thames Valley Police, Medtronic, The University of Law, Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and many more.
Day 2: Industry Insights | Wednesday 28 October 2026 Sessions running between 11:00am – 16:00pm (On-campus & Online)
This day features a dedicated stream of Industry Insights for students exploring careers in various sectors. The day will also feature creative pathways, exploring careers and opportunities in the creative industries.
Participating employers, alumni contributors and workshop details will be announced nearer the event date.
Day 3: Industry Insights | Thursday 29 October 2026
Sessions running between 09:00am – 16:00pm (On-campus & Online)
This day features employer-led workshops and masterclasses from a range of sectors, covering recruitment, employability, professional development and industry-specific career pathways.
The morning programme, global insights, features a series of online workshops and an alumni panel connecting students from Middlesex University's campuses in London, Dubai and Mauritius.
Global Insights Programme 09:00am - 11:00pm (Online) Connecting students across London, Dubai and Mauritius. International careers, global employability and industry insights from multinational organisations and alumni.
