For Love
A film screening about a neurologist who, starved of love, becomes entangled in the lives of an ALS patient and his wife.
"Thirty-year-old neurologist Anna grew up without a mother's love, and so she tries to find it from others. She longs to find a solid anchor in her relationships, but in reality she is merely repeating her mother's manipulative behavior. She tries to satisfy her need for recognition by taking excessive care of her patients. As the attending physician, she meets Ján, who is suffering from the incurable disease ALS, and his loving wife, Mariana.
Anna becomes attached to Ján and tries to make the couple dependent on her help. At the same time, however, she is captivated by the purity of their relationship—something she herself has never experienced. Encountering true love forces her to confront her own motives and actions and changes the course of her life."
