Foolish Fires

Foolish Fires takes its title from the will-o’-the-wisp—those mysterious lights said to lure travelers from familiar paths into the unknown. The evening comprises two new works that explore opposing forces: shadow and light, certainty and ambiguity, attraction and resistance.

Emerging from a shared conceptual thread, each work inhabits a distinct relationship to the same mystery. Foolish Fires invites audiences into an unfolding landscape where movement, light, language, and sound ignite briefly like sparks before disappearing again at the edge of perception.
