Ebru Art Workshop

Ebru is the traditional Turkish art of water marbling. Using specialized tools, pigments are floated on water to create patterns that are then captured on paper.

Come try this unique art form with an instructor from Studio Mavi Art. You will learn about the history of ebru and get to create your own pieces using traditional materials, such as horse-tail brushes.

The Ebru Art Workshop is highly interactive and beginner-friendly; no prior experience is needed. All materials are provided. This is a FREE ticketed event; tickets will be distributed 15 minutes before the program. Space and supplies are limited.

Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded.

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or [email protected].
