Three-day self-supported gravel bike tour (~150 miles) from Micanopy exploring ghost towns and singletrack, limited to 35 riders
The Dirt Devil Spring tour is a 3-day, 2-night dirt road bicycle tour out of Micanopy, Florida, to High Springs and back. The total estimated distance is ~150 miles; the route is 100% gravel bike compatible. There are only 35 spots available.
A deep exploration of ghost towns, wagon trails, forgotten roads, and singletrack. This is a self-supported ride; participants must be prepared to handle any and all situations. The RWGPS file will be provided via email along with a list of mandatory items. We will do our best to stay together, but riders are expected to be able to keep a 13 mph pace on pavement/dirt roads and an 8 mph pace on rugged trails. Average speed is 10 mph.
The ride is limited to the first 35 registered riders. New for 2026 is the Mega Death Loop, offering riders the option to go a little further but get lunch in Paisley mid-ride (about 70+ miles). This year, we will go clockwise from our start location. Specifics on the parking location will be emailed along with route info to registered riders two weeks before the start.
