Custom Hat Making Workshop

No prior experience is needed—this beginner-friendly class is designed to guide you through the entire process in a supportive, creative environment. What You Will Learn:

Hat blocking and shaping techniques Essential millinery tools and skills Hand sewing and interior lining Hat trimming and decorative finishes Fabric manipulation and design customization

Materials & Supplies:

All materials are provided, including rabbit felt and lining Participants are encouraged to bring any special fabrics, trims, ribbons, or beads they might want to incorporate into their hat design

Class Details:

Dates: Saturday 1/16 and Sunday 1/17 Time: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM each day, Breaktime: 2:00 – 3:00 PM daily. Please bring a bag lunch, snack, and beverage (there are no food services near The Forge) Skill Level: Beginner / No experience required Ages: 16 and up Price: $336 + $100 materials fee Minimum 5 participants/Maximum 10 participants.
