Join us for an evening of discussion and reflection on creative youth mental health support in Dundee.
We’ll be joined by young people, healthcare professionals, youth workers and creative practitioners from across our Creative Minds project, to share their experience, insights and aspirations for the future – exploring together how creativity, care, and the systems that currently support young people can be stronger and more hopeful in Dundee. There will also be opportunities for you to connect with others and contribute to the discussions through small informal group chats around key topics, and a live audit where you can share your insights, challenges and aspirations. This event is aimed at anyone interested in tackling youth mental health challenges and bringing sectors closer together in Dundee and beyond. These include young people, healthcare professionals, cultural organisations and creative freelancers, community connectors, and those who are supporting and advocating for change. We’ll be announcing our speakers very soon!

About Creative Minds Creative Minds is a year-long programme bringing together young people (aged 16–25) and practitioners from healthcare, creative, youth and community settings, to creatively reimagine youth mental health support and community care systems in Dundee. Through collaboration, creative exploration, and shared leadership, the programme aims to strengthen the City Plan for Dundee 2022-32 ’s vision of a creative and caring city. Building belonging, confidence, and resilience, Creative Minds amplifies lived experience and demonstrates how young people can creatively shape the systems that support them. Creative Minds is led by Creative Dundee and supported by project funding from NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation and Northwood Trust. Read more about our process and findings throughout Creative Minds on this page, including insights and reflections from young participants.
