Cousins

Celebrating 40 Years of Music, Friendship, and Family! Two of the Triangle’s finest volunteer ensembles come together for a special concert celebrating the enduring musical traditions of our region. Founded just one year apart – the Triangle Brass Band in 1986 and the Cary Town Band in 1987 – these “cousin” organizations have spent four decades providing performing opportunities for exceptional volunteer musicians and bringing outstanding live music to audiences throughout the Triangle. The connection comes to life in Cousins , a special selection featuring a cornet player from the Triangle Brass Band and a trombonist from the Cary Town Band. Join us for an evening of great music and community spirit as these two beloved ensembles celebrate their shared history and the power of making music together!
