Corridor CANstruction
CANstruction is a unique fundraising competition in which teams “can”struct sculptures out of cans of food.
Viewers will have a chance to vote for their favorite work of can-art to select the coveted People’s Choice award. Following the display of the artwork, all of the cans of food will be donated to CommUnity Food Bank to feed our neighbors facing hunger.
CANstruction Crews will assemble their masterpieces at the Coral Ridge Mall on Saturday, November 7. Distinguished award categories such as “Best Meal,” “Best Use of Labels,” “Most Cans,” “Best Original Design,” will be judged by a panel of local judges.
“People’s Choice” voting will take place November 7-14 to crown the 2026 Corridor CANstruction champion. The competition is sure to be fierce, so bring the whole family and put on your art critique berets because every vote counts!
A special thanks to our friends at Coral Ridge Mall for hosting Corridor CANstruction, South East Iowa Architects Section and Johnson County Affordable Housing Coalition for organizing!
