Join De Creative Emporium for a hands-on Cornrow class, where we'll explore the foundations of healthy hair practices and learn the essential techniques behind cornrowing. We'll begin with a welcome and introduction, giving you the opportunity to meet your educator, connect with fellow attendees and find out what you'll be learning throughout the session.

We'll then explore Scalp Health & Hair Preparation, including: An introduction to scalp health and healthy hair practices. Understanding the importance of scalp care when braiding. Practical exercises to build your foundational knowledge.

Next, we'll move on to Demonstration & Technique, where you'll use one of our textured hair mannequin heads to learn and practise - The foundations of cornrowing. Parting and sectioning techniques. Hand positioning and braid direction. How to incorporate additional hair.
