November is Grief Awareness Month. Join us for a meaningful children's program that explores the complex feelings and experiences that arise surrounding the loss of a loved one. In partnership with Hospice Vaughan.
Children will learn about supportive ways to understand feelings of loss and remember loved ones through the reading of The Invisible String by Patrice Karst, a heartwarming story that reminds us we are always connected to the people we love, no matter where they are.
After the story, participants will create a meaningful bracelet to keep or give to someone special as a symbol of the invisible strings that connect us through love, memories, and kindness.
