Computer Assembly Workshop
Learn to disassemble, reassemble and troubleshoot a working PC in this free hands-on class for ages 10 and up, by appointment.
Free. Recommended for ages 10+
With Lab PCs donated by our local community, you will learn:
• Components needed to assemble a working computer • How to plan out and shop for a new/used computer components • How to disassemble/assemble a PC without damaging components
Class Breakdown:
• Students will be given a working computer; they will plug in components and boot it. • Students will dissemble computer to a bare motherboard. • Students will reassemble computer; start them up and troubleshoot any problems

This is a great skill to acquire in this age of excessive PC component prices.
My Qualifications: I've built my own computers for more than 35 years. My parents worked at IBM and would always bring home new components. I have a CompTIA A+ certification and a Cisco Certified Network Associate Certificate.
