Codebreaker & Cal Volpe

An Evening of Raw Rock, Funky Grooves & Unfiltered Musicianship

Frequency Cafe welcomes Cal Volpe and CodeBreaker for an intimate evening celebrating the raw, unfiltered power of live music.

From spontaneous blues improvisations and funky hip-hop rhythms to stripped-down alternative rock, this show brings together two distinct sounds united by a love of authentic musical expression.

CodeBreaker: Unplugged & Unrefined Known for their heavy low-end grit, aggressive alt-rock energy, and unapologetic rock and roll attitude, Kelowna's CodeBreaker is turning down the volume for something completely different.

Drawing inspiration from the raw intensity of '90s grunge, punk, and underground hard rock, CodeBreaker typically delivers a wall of guitars and relentless energy.

But for one night only, they're stripping it all back.

Reimagining their hard-hitting catalogue in a rare acoustic performance, CodeBreaker invites audiences to experience their music without the distortion.

No fuzz pedals. No backing tracks. No hiding behind walls of sound.

Just raw emotion, stripped-down tension, and uncompromising rock and roll.

Cal Volpe Born from late-night jam sessions in Kelowna, Cal Volpe brings together three musicians with an undeniable musical connection.

Featuring Cal on guitar and vocals, Dan on bass, and Nate on drums, the trio effortlessly blends funky hip-hop grooves, extended blues jams, and iconic rock riffs.

Performing songs from Cal's diverse catalogue alongside creative interpretations of familiar favourites, the band thrives on spontaneous improvisation, dynamic solos, and an infectious musical chemistry.

Expect soulful grooves, swinging rhythms, and a performance where no two moments are quite the same.
