For Berlin Tea Week, China Social Club invites you to an evening dedicated to the art of Chinese tea with a live music and art performances and perhaps a very mild case of tea drunkness 茶醉 along the way. The experience 🍵 From 17:00 · Doors open. Discover our tea partners, explore their teas and settle into the evening with an ongoing tea tasting.
From 19:00 · Yunxi Cheng on saxophone and Lavia Lin live painting, bringing sound and colour into the tea experience. As the evening unfolds, you will enjoy: 🍵 A Gongfu Tea TastingDiscover our curated selection from three of Berlin's premium Chinese tea brands.
We'll guide you through a tasting framework designed to make you pay attention to the details: aroma, flavour, texture, aftertaste and, eventually, how you're feeling. Until you can't anymore. 🎵 Live MusicThe tasting will unfold alongside a live performance by Berlin-based Chinese musicians, creating a soundscape for the evening.
🎨 Live PaintingWatch the experience take visual form through a live painting performance by Lavia Lin, responding to the atmosphere, music and tea around her. And beyond the tea... Every guest will receive a China Social Club goodie bag with tea samples, so the tea high doesn't have to end when you leave. 📸 And yes, we encourage the before & after pictures.
