One of Canada's most acclaimed and much-loved singer-songwriters, Cara Luft makes a long-anticipated return with a joyful solo album – her first in over 13 years. The culmination of a period of upheaval and transformation, My Heart Will Always Be is Cara's most assured and personal work to date. Cara's guiding principle was simple: to work with friends who embodied kindness, consideration and be generous of spirit.
From this ethos emerged the foundations of her new album and a trusted creative entourage she affectionately calls "the Quadrangle of Awesomeness" - musician, singer-songwriter Clayton Parsons, session musician and producer Soctt Poley, and engineer Julia Graff.
Showcasing Cara's remarkable musicianship and uncanny ability to sing about personal things that resonate deeply with listeners, the album is both a personal declaration and a celebration of music's enduring power to heal, connect, and bring joy.
