Build in Bothell
Build in Bothell
A working conversation on what it takes to get projects moving in Bothell.
Join Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) , in partnership with the City of Bothell , on Thursday, November 12 , for Build in Bothell , an interactive working session bringing together commercial real estate brokers, developers, property owners, businesses, City leadership, and elected officials to explore the opportunities and challenges shaping development in Bothell.
Designed with the commercial real estate and development community in mind, Build in Bothell will create a direct line of conversation between those navigating development opportunities every day and the City and elected leaders who can help address the challenges standing in their way.
Bothell continues to offer significant opportunities for investment and development—but bringing a project from possibility to reality can involve complex questions around permitting, zoning, infrastructure, transportation, utilities, and site readiness.
Rather than a traditional panel or presentation, attendees will participate in facilitated roundtable discussions focused on real-world development opportunities and barriers. City leaders and elected officials will join participants at the tables, creating an opportunity for candid, constructive conversation about what is working, what is getting in the way, and what could help move projects forward.
Discussion Topics Conversations will focus on three areas particularly relevant to development and investment in Bothell:
Permitting & Regulatory Process Where are permitting timelines, regulatory requirements, utility capacity, or overlapping local and state processes creating uncertainty—and what could improve predictability?
Zoning, Land Use & Housing Pipeline How are zoning, allowable uses, density, building types, and land-use policies affecting project feasibility and Bothell's ability to accommodate future housing and mixed-use development?
Site Readiness & Infrastructure Where are transportation access, utilities, or other infrastructure needs affecting otherwise viable development opportunities, and what investments could help unlock those sites?
Your Experience Can Help Shape What Comes Next Each conversation will be focused not only on identifying challenges, but also on identifying opportunities and actionable next steps .
Feedback gathered during Build in Bothell will help EASC and the City identify common themes and inform a Build in Bothell Legislative & Policy Priorities Memo ahead of the 2027 Washington State legislative session—providing an opportunity for the development community to bring real-world experiences and barriers directly to City leaders and legislators while there is still time to help inform priorities.
Who Should Attend? Build in Bothell is designed particularly for commercial real estate brokers and professionals actively working with properties, clients, or development opportunities in and…
