Boosters

Corvette is an aspiring fashion designer, currently getting by as a Booster, a professional shoplifter. With her friends Mariah and Sade, they are selling themselves as Bay Area Robin Hoods, doing "fast fashion philanthropy", performing customer service by raiding haute couture for the people. Setting their sights on cutthroat fashion mogul Christie Smith, they discover that her manufacturing pipeline is quite unorthodox. An explosion of colour and energy bursts off the screen in this new anti-capitalist absurdist comedy opus from Boots Riley (Sorry to Bother You).
