A positive, non-awkward evening on puberty & periods for girls 8–12, led by physical therapists. Games, crafts and real conversations!

Growing up is a big adventure—and nobody hands you the instruction manual! That's where Body Wise comes in.

Join us for a fun-filled evening designed to help girls learn about their changing bodies, puberty, and periods in a positive, age-appropriate, and completely non-awkward way. Led by a pelvic floor occupational therapist, this interactive event is geared toward girls ages 8–12, but all ages are welcome.

We'll explore questions like: What's happening as my body grows? What is a period, and what should I expect? How can I take care of my body and feel confident as I grow up? Through games, crafts, activities, and open conversation, girls will gain knowledge, confidence, and practical tools for navigating this exciting stage of life. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, learn new things, and connect with others without any embarrassment.

Each participant will also create and take home her own Period Kit filled with helpful supplies and resources, so she'll feel prepared and confident when the time comes.

Girls are encouraged to bring a trusted adult female in their life , whether that's a mom, grandma, aunt, older sister, or family friend. Together, you'll learn, laugh, and create memories while building a foundation for healthy conversations that can continue long after the event ends.

Recommended for girls ages 8–12 and their favorite female grown-up.

Cost: $20 per girl/adult pair (includes all activities, crafts, and a take-home Period Kit).
