Join us for a family-friendly BioBlitz at Kirkstall Valley Farm! Together we'll explore the farm, looking for and recording the different plants, animals, insects and other wildlife we can find on-site.
A BioBlitz is a citizen science survey that helps us build a picture of the biodiversity living in a particular place. This is a relaxed activity for the whole family and you don't need any previous wildlife identification experience – just come along, meet other people from your local community and help us discover what's living on the farm.

Please download the inaturalist app ahead of the session as signal and wifi is limited on-site.
We will be meeting just inside the entrance gates to Kirkstall Valley Farm, next to 'the compound', before making our way to the 'social space' and around the farm together. Please come dressed for the weather and wear suitable footwear for exploring the farm.
There is no on-site parking. There is nearby on-street parking on Kirkstall Road and Burley Wood Mount. Parking is available on-site for people with accessibility needs. Please let us know your needs in advance of the workshop.
